MYC Transit Custom 2019-2023 35mm Front Lowering Springs (TYPE 3)

MYC is pleased to announce our 35mm front lowering spring kit for the Transit Custom from Sept 2019 to 2023 (TYPE 3).
These springs will not fit the new Transit Custom / VW collaboration 2023 model.

These springs are produced for all Transit Custom MK8 250 / 60 / 70 / 80 / 90 / 300 / 10 / 30 / Series using the Ford shock absorber part number KK21-18045 and top bearing BK21-18183.

Our springs are uprated 20% compared to the standard springs and will give a 35mm drop.

The year of manufacture and model type must not solely be relied upon and it is imperative the shock absorber image above is viewed for comparison and fitment match.
Later Transit Custom models can be fitted with the older 2012-14 shock absorbers as such this spring will not fit the earlier shock absorbers using a Type 1 spring if these are fitted to your Transit Custom.

NOTE: If your Transit Custom has factory fitted front lowering springs ie Sport van / MSRT or the front springs have been changed previously by another owner and is lower than the original standard ride height we use to produce our springs then these springs will not give the 35mm drop as intended.
Some vehicles ie Sport van / MSRT are fitted with 20mm – 30mm front lowering springs (Eibach) as standard. You must take into account the difference in drop. If this is not done the vehicle will see very little drop after fitting the new springs.
This is not a defect in the springs but a calculation error.

These springs are designed in conjunction with our newly released MYC Custom Lowered Leaf Springs and Adjustable Rear Brackets.

Springs are custom made and take 1 – 2 days to manufacture depending on the supplier’s lead time.
